Hello, I'm Jun, the founder of Jomingo! My journey began in 2018 during a trip to Cuba. The climate there was just like Singapore’s—intensely hot, humid, and sticky. Combined with the harsh chemicals in the conventional drugstore deodorant made for temperate weather, the extreme tropical weather triggered a severe underarm rash.

That painful experience was my wake-up call. I realized that conventional deodorants simply do not work with our weather; instead of helping, their synthetic chemicals and heavy aluminum clog pores, trapping sweat and toxins inside the skin, which easily leads to irritation in high humidity. I knew I needed a safe, natural alternative that could actually withstand OUR climate.

Back in Singapore, I started formulating all-natural, plant-based deodorants and personal care products engineered specifically for our warm and humid weather, and any tropical climate just like it. During my capstone project at Singapore Management University (SMU), I officially launched my first batch at a roadshow graced by the former President of Singapore, Halimah Yacob, and SMU President, Dr. Lily Kong. The enthusiastic market responses proved that clean personal care built for the tropics was needed.
